Lakeside Summer Sunset

By now, you'd already know that I'm such a sucker for sunsets. Moreover, I just love sunsets over, along, and nearby waters like beaches, rivers, and lakes. When I got to Turkey, I just realized I am in the right place. It has everything I've always wanted.

This first two weeks of summer is amazingly fun and lovely for me because I'm staying in Sakarya. It's about two-hour drive from Istanbul. Everyone seems to be here on the weekends to have breakfast or dinner. Why won't they? It has such amazing places and views nearby the Sapanca lake.

So, on a whim I decided to ask my friend to have dinner in one of the most beautiful lakeside restaurants last Tuesday. I was so in love with the sunset view there. Of course, I enjoyed the dinner, the place and the food. The staff there were so sweet and very accommodating. They smile a lot.:-)

So one particular weekend, when the weather app said 23°/30°-- I decided to check out the newest bridge built in the middle of our Akar chay (small river).  It was so white and really nice. Made a perfect place for photos and of course to chill and relax --chillax.

It was golden hour when we got there and it's my favorite time of day. I…

Happy Friday everyone! In Turkish, they always say Hayırlı Cumalar. Well, it's the weekend. Have you got plans? I have so many plans like going back to Alacati and enjoy all these photogenic cafes, hotels and restaurants. Sadly, I can't because I must start packing and move to Istanbul in a week's time. For now, here are the photos of the beautiful Alacati center. Enjoy.
